Durham Ballet Theatre was pleased to be able to provide the 9th annual free performance of our original full-length ballet, Aladdin, for members of the special needs community and their families or caregivers.
Each spring, up to 900 members of the special needs community and their families /caregivers are provided a safe, accessible environment in which to experience live dance and theatre. Many of our special audience members may have physical, cognitive, developmental, or medical disabilities, or visual and/or hearing impairments. They may be facing poverty and housing insecurity. As a 501(c)(3), non-profit public charity, DBT relies on donations to fulfill our mission of increasing accessibility to the performing arts. Our goal is to raise $5,000 towards production costs for the Special Needs Performance.
DBT needs your help to make this gratis performance possible!
