Donations allow us to expand our mission to bring the magic of dance theatre, education, and the love of the arts to every facet our community. We provide dance theatre training, collaboration, and exploration for dancers of all ages and abilities, and professional-quality performances that elevate the diverse cultural landscape of Durham.​​​

FUNDING SOURCES
How do we pay for our programs?
Durham Ballet Theatre programs are partially funded through ticket sales, performance fees, and grants, but we thrive because of supporters like you. Direct donations are a vitally important part of DBT.

Only 17% of our funds are sourced from grants.
​
Unfortunately, our grant dollars are becoming increasingly more difficult to come by as additional sources of COVID arts recovery dollars have dried up. That means our success depends on the generosity of individual and corporate donors.
